We are so much more resilient and capable and powerful that ANY facet of the modern collective would have us believe! I am a different kind of practitioner, and she approaches mental health, wellbeing, and our experiences of dis-ease a little differently. I take a very non-pathologizing, holistic standpoint, and I believe that symptoms are actually signals. I view the experiences we often label as things like anxiety and depression are really intelligent messages about what needs our attention. I believes that our dis-ease can offer us opportunities to grow, to heal, and to live more authentic, fulfilling lives.
I bring compassionate curiosity to the table as well as years of experience sitting with people who are navigating journeys of healing, recovery, and reconnection. I works together with my clients to co-create a safe environment to explore the deeper messages that dis-ease may be trying to communicate, and to begin shifting the stories might be contributing to a sense of stuckness or unhappiness or fear. I can help you explore what it means to you to truly be well and connected with your worthiness, your enoughness, and your wholeness.
I also specialize in supporting those who wish to work towards tapering off of psychiatric medications. This may not be for everyone and that’s perfectly okay. But for those who have this as a goal, I am able to offer a unique understanding and specialized support around the myriad of non-medical challenges that can arise while navigating the process.
I is a pre-licensed counselor offering tele-health therapy sessions through Wise Heart Psychological Services to adult residents of Pennsylvania in the United States. If you are a resident of PA and you are interested in working with me for therapy, I would love to hear from you! Please contact me for more information and to schedule a free 20-minute introductory session to assess for needs and fit. You are more than your struggles, you are more than your labels, you are more than your stories. You are already enough and you are already whole, you always have been.
At this time I am only able to offer therapeutic services as a counselor to residents of Pennsylvania. If you live elsewhere and you are looking for a therapist to work with in your area, you can visit Psychology Today and Therapy Den.
